The EGOSAT 2.4m (8 ft) C/Ku band flyaway antenna system is designed to provide high speed stow and deploy through its simple and robust structure and light weight material.

The reflector is composed of 6 or 9 panels use fast-lock speed connection thus avoiding the need of installation tools. Az/El adjustment can be locked, El adjustment is by fast-tune and fine-tuning combined in one device to facilitate the operation. The support can be deployed flexibly, the whole structure of the antenna is designed to be easy to disassemble and assemble with features including, all of antenna parts packed in 3 or 4 by virtue of the users.

Two persons install antenna within 15 minutes.

The antenna case construction is high impact-resistant high molecular polymer material united injection molding, flat flexible foaming gasket, all hinge axis is stainless steel material.

The antenna can be packed in 3/4-cases in according to request of the user.
